I. acrylic emulsion paint:

acrylic emulsion paint is generally composed of acrylic lotion, pigments and fillers, water and additives. With the advantages of moderate cost, excellent weather resistance, good performance adjustability and no organic solvent release, it is a kind of coating products that has developed very rapidly recently. It is mainly used for interior and exterior wall coating of buildings, leather coating, etc. Recently, new varieties of latex paint for wood and self crosslinking latex paint have appeared. Acrylic emulsion paint can be divided into pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, silicone acrylic, acetate acrylic and other varieties according to different lotion

II. Solvent based acrylic paint:

solvent based acrylic paint has excellent weather resistance and high mechanical properties. It is a kind of paint with rapid development at present. Solvent based acrylic paint can be divided into self drying acrylic paint (thermoplastic) and crosslinking curing acrylic paint (thermosetting). The former belongs to non conversion paint, and the latter belongs to conversion paint. Self drying acrylic paint is mainly used in architectural paint, plastic paint, electronic paint, road marking paint, etc. it has the advantages of rapid surface drying, easy construction, protection and decoration. The disadvantages are that the solid content is not easy to be too high, hardness and elasticity are not easy to take into account, a thick film cannot be obtained in one construction, and the film fullness is not ideal. Crosslinking curing acrylic paint mainly includes acrylic amino paint, acrylic polyurethane paint, acrylic alkyd paint, radiation curing acrylic paint and other varieties. Widely used in automotive coatings, electrical coatings, wood coatings, architectural coatings and other aspects. Crosslinking curable acrylic coatings generally have high solid content. A thick film can be obtained by one coating, and the mechanical properties are excellent. They can be made into coatings with high weather resistance, high fullness, high elasticity and high hardness. The disadvantage is that the construction of two-component coatings is troublesome. Many varieties also need heating curing or radiation curing. They have high requirements for environmental conditions. Generally, they need better equipment and more skilled painting skills

III. polyurethane paint:

polyurethane paint is a common kind of paint at present, which can be divided into two-component polyurethane paint and one-component polyurethane paint. Two component polyurethane coating is generally composed of isocyanate prepolymer (also known as low molecular urethane polymer) and hydroxyl containing resin, which is usually called curing agent component and main agent component. This kind of coating has many varieties and a wide range of applications. According to the different hydroxyl containing components, it can be divided into acrylic polyurethane, alkyd polyurethane, polyester polyurethane, polyether polyurethane, epoxy polyurethane and other varieties. Generally, they have good mechanical properties, high solid content and good performance in all aspects. It is a kind of paint with great development prospects at present. The main application directions are wood coatings, automotive repair coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, floor coatings, electronic coatings, special coatings, etc. The disadvantage is that the construction process is complex, the requirements for the construction environment are very high, and the paint film is easy to cause defects. One component polyurethane coatings mainly include urethane oil coatings, moisture curing polyurethane coatings, closed polyurethane coatings and other varieties. The application scope is not as wide as that of two-component coating, which is mainly used for floor coating, anti-corrosion coating, pre coiled material coating, etc., and its overall performance is not as comprehensive as that of two-component coating

IV. nitro paint:

nitro paint is a relatively common coating for wood and decoration at present. The advantages are good decorative effect, simple construction, rapid drying, low requirements for the coating environment, good hardness and brightness, less paint film defects, and easy repair. The disadvantage is that the solid content is low, which requires more construction passes to achieve better results; The durability is not very good, especially the internal nitrocellulose paint, which has poor light and color retention, and is prone to defects such as loss of light, cracking, discoloration and so on if it is used for a long time; The protective effect of the paint film is not good, and it is not resistant to organic solvents, heat and corrosion. The main film-forming material of nitrocellulose paint is mainly nitrocellulose, combined with alkyd resin, modified rosin resin, acrylic resin, amino resin and other soft and hard resins. Generally, plasticizers such as dibutyl phthalate, dioctyl ester and oxidized castor oil need to be added. Solvents mainly include true solvents such as esters, ketones, alcohol ethers, cosolvents such as alcohols, and diluents such as benzene. Nitrocellulose paint is mainly used in wood and furniture painting, home decoration, general decorative painting, metal painting, general cement painting, etc

v. epoxy paint

epoxy paint is a kind of industrial paint that has developed very rapidly in recent years. Generally speaking, the paint containing more epoxy groups in its composition is collectively referred to as epoxy paint. The main variety of epoxy paint is two-component paint, which is composed of epoxy resin and curing agent. There are also some single component self drying varieties, but there is a certain gap between their performance and that of two-component coatings. The main advantage of epoxy paint is its strong adhesion to inorganic materials such as cement and metal; The coating itself is very corrosion-resistant; Excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance, impact resistance; It can be made into solvent-free or high solid coating; Resistant to organic solvents, heat and water; The coating is non-toxic. The disadvantage is poor weather resistance, and chalking may occur after long exposure to sunlight, so it can only be used for primer or interior paint; Poor decoration and difficult to maintain gloss; It has high requirements for the construction environment, and the film solidifies slowly at low temperature, which has poor effect; Many varieties need high temperature curing, and the investment of coating equipment is large. Epoxy resin coating is mainly used for floor coating, automobile primer, metal corrosion prevention, chemical corrosion prevention, etc

VI. amino paint:

amino paint is mainly composed of two parts, one of which is amino resin component, mainly including butylated melamine formaldehyde resin, methylated melamine formaldehyde resin, butylated urea formaldehyde resin and other resins. The second is hydroxyl resin, mainly including medium and short oil alkyd resin, hydroxyl acrylic resin, epoxy resin and other resins. Except for urea formaldehyde resin paint (commonly known as acid curing paint) used for wood coatings, the main varieties of amino paint need to be heated and cured. Generally, the curing temperature is above 100 ℃ and the curing time is above 20 minutes. The cured film has excellent performance. The film is hard, plump, bright, firm and durable, with good decorative and protective effects. The disadvantage is that the coating equipment has high requirements and high energy consumption, which is not suitable for small-scale production. Amino paint is mainly used for automobile topcoat, furniture coating, household appliances coating, various metal surface coating, instrument and industrial equipment coating

VII. Alkyd paint:

alkyd paint is mainly composed of alkyd resin. It is currently the largest domestic production of a class of coatings. It has the advantages of low price, simple construction, low requirements for the construction environment, plump and hard coating, good durability and weather resistance, and good decoration and protection. The disadvantage is that the drying is slow, the coating is not easy to meet high requirements, and it is not suitable for high decorative occasions. Alkyd paint is mainly used for the coating of general wood, furniture and home decoration, general metal decoration coating, metal anti-corrosion coating with low requirements, and the coating of general agricultural machinery, automobiles, instruments and meters, industrial equipment, etc

VIII. Unsaturated polyester paint:

unsaturated polyester paint is also a kind of paint with rapid development recently, which is divided into two categories: air drying unsaturated polyester and radiation curing (light curing) unsaturated polyester. The main advantage is that it can be made into solvent-free paint. A thick paint film can be obtained by brushing once. The requirement for coating temperature is not high, and the paint film has a good decorative effect. The paint film is tough, wear-resistant and easy to maintain. The disadvantage is that when curing, the shrinkage of the paint film is large, and the adhesion to the substrate is prone to problems. Air drying unsaturated polyester generally needs polishing, and the procedures are cumbersome. Radiation curing unsaturated polyester has high requirements for coating equipment, which is not suitable for small-scale production. Unsaturated polyester paint is mainly used in furniture, wooden floors, metal corrosion prevention and other aspects

IX. vinyl paint:

vinyl paint includes vinyl acetate copolymer resin paint, polyvinyl butyral paint, vinylidene chloride, perchloroethylene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene paint and other varieties. The main advantages of vinyl paint are weather resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, water resistance, insulation, mold resistance and good flexibility. Its shortcomings are mainly manifested in general heat resistance, not easy to make high solid paint, general mechanical performance, poor decorative performance and so on. Vinyl paint is mainly used in industrial anti-corrosion coating, electrical insulation coating, phosphating primer, metal coating, external coating, etc

X. phenolic paint:

phenolic resin is the product of condensation of phenol and aldehyde in the presence of catalyst. Oil soluble phenolic resin is mainly used in paint industry. Phenolic paint has the advantages of fast drying, bright and hard film, good water resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. The disadvantage is that it is easy to turn yellow and should not be made into light colored paint, with poor weather resistance. Phenolic paint is mainly used for anticorrosive coating, insulating coating, general metal coating, general decorative coating, etc
